NATO dezminte informatia falsa lansata de o publicatie din Romania in legatura cu certificatul de securitate al Secretarului General Adjunct Mircea Geoana :
“NATO has not initiated any procedures for re-evaluating the security clearance for Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana, who continues his regular activities. Procedures related to the issuance and periodic renewal of security clearances are an exclusive, sovereign national responsibility.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is the main representative of the Alliance at high-level meetings, including ministerial meetings of the European Union. His trip to Berlin this week was planned long in advance, as he was personally invited to attend the informal Meeting of EU Defence Ministers and to meet high-level German officials, including Chancellor Merkel.
